Our 7^th and 8^th scholastic bowl teams did phenomenal in the Metcalf Valentine’s Day Tournament. Our 7^th grade was 4-2 and our 8^th grade was 6-0. Our 7^th grade won the first three games before lunch and so did the 8^th grade. The teams that Epiphany played were Metcalf, Oak Grove, Flanagan, Holy Trinity, Cornerstone, and Trinity Lutheran. Then, after the break, the 7th grade lost in a triple toss-up overtime, and then won one of the next two. Our 8^th grade won the next three and made it to the finals. Our 7^th grade came in 3^rd place and our 8^th grade came in first place. The MVP for the 7^th grade was Connor L., and the MVP for the 8^th grade was Jack H. Then, our 8^th grade had to face an AA team in the finals and lost. The 8^th grade had to face a Morton team. Good job to both teams and keep up the good work. We wish you lots of luck for the rest of the season.

NORMAL-This is the 5^th annual Epiphany Schools Olympics. There are 10 teams participating this year. The Epiphany Schools Olympics are held every 4 years, just like the real Olympics. There are high hopes for all of these years’ teams. Ireland is setting out to get their 2^nd win in a row.   Enjoy our video on the opening ceremony!

Giving our food to St. Vincent de Paul volunteers.

NORMAL-This year for the Valentine’s Day Food Drive Epiphany Schools brought in about five-hundred nonperishable items. Mrs. Simpson, the head of the junior high service group, stated that they will be sending the cans to St. Vincent de Paul which is a Catholic Association for the collection of cans to give to the less fortunate. All students who chose to bring in nonperishable items received a causal dress day. Thank you to the service organization for organizing the food drive!
